The unemployment rate for veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time since Sept. 2001- a group referred to as the Gulf War-era II veterans- edged down to 9.0% on 2013, the U.S. Bureau pf Labor Statistics reported. The jobless rate for all veterans also edged down to 6.6 percent. twenty-nine percent of Gulf War-II veterans reported having a service-connected disability in August 2013, compared to 15% of all veterans. 

Come and celebrate with SEVA ASTD Career Club 3.0 as we honor our military heroes. We will have a panel discussion of successful transitioned service members from all branches of the military. They will discuss how they were able to create their own "military makeovers".  Employers- learn how you can help to create a "military makeover" in your organizations.
