SEVA Career Club is open to adults looking to start or enhance their career in training and development. Membership in SEVA ASTD is not required.

 

Our April event will feature Anne –Lise Gere facilitating a discussion on Determining Your WorthLearn how to determine your worth in the marketplace and get tips on negotiating salary.

 

A Human Resources consultant and owner of Gere Consulting in Newport News Virginia, Anne-Lise brings a breadth of international experience and 15 years of practice as a Human Resources professional.

Before establishing her own HR practice in 2001, Anne-Lise worked for two major international companies: Procter & Gamble (in England and France), and Siemens Automotive in the United States.

As Senior HR Manager in France, Anne-Lise was a key player in the re-structuring of the French subsidiary of Procter & Gamble. The re-structuring included organization redesign as well as cultural changes. Anne-Lise worked closely with senior management through this major cultural transformation affecting all levels of the organization.

During 7 years with Procter & Gamble, she held a variety of positions spanning from Operations in manufacturing, to Business Partner with corporate sales teams, and HR specialist roles (corporate recruitment, training and development).

At Siemens Automotive in Virginia, Anne-Lise overhauled the performance evaluation system, introduced a competency-based evaluation and performance-based pay increases for 400 employees.

She also dealt with Equal Employment Opportunity cases, working with attorneys on retaliation claims and mediation efforts.

In her current practice, Anne-Lise has been focusing on:
